Three Decades of Sharpening Excellence
Dave Magadanz founded Riverside Tool and Carbide in 1989, starting as a small sharpening business operating from his garage. As word spread about the quality of our work, business grew rapidly, leading to the construction of our current facility at 1907 Mill Street in New London, Wisconsin in 1991.
On June 28th, 2024, Dave retired and proudly passed the business to Jason Flease, one of his longest and most dedicated employees. Jason joined the team straight out of high school in 2008 and has worked alongside Dave for over 16 years, learning every aspect of the craft, while also being a local firefighter for 10 years. It was always Dave and Jason’s shared dream for Jason to one day take over the business, ensuring our tradition of excellence continues.
